Hello! I'm Amelia
My name is Amelia and I am an undergraduate student at Boston University studying public relations. I am a dedicated student and have worked to create a wide understanding of the Public Relations industry through my coursework and extracurricular activities. When I'm not studying, I frequently explore Boston with friends and discover new restaurants in the area.
RECENT PROJECTS
Project 1: PRLab Pitching
As an Account Executive for PRLab at Boston University, I am responsible for creating pitches to the media on behalf of our client, the Rose & Dove Specialty Gift Shop. This is a pitch I wrote and disseminated to a local paper regarding our client's philanthropical event.
Project 2: WR151 Major Research Paper
During the second semester of my sophomore year at BU, I took a writing class titled, "Albums Now!" in which we analyzed contemporary music. For my final project, I chose to write about nostalgia in the Beatles' album, Magical Mystery Tour. I analyzed their hits "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Penny Lane" in depth.
Project 3: CM331 Profile
I wrote a profile for one of my communication writing classes at Boston University. I chose to write it about my father, because the class took place during the pandemic, and I had to write it about someone I was living with at the time. The profile is centered around his experience moving to London at a young age.
